Why Your Gift Is Important to the Library
Andrew Carnegie knew the importance of public libraries. Carnegie saw his philanthropy as an investment in the future of America. He recognized from personal experience that access to books, information, and knowledge can change and improve lives.
You can change lives too, through your gifts to the library.
“A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people. It is a never-failing spring in the desert.” — Andrew Carnegie
Your gifts make certain that our library can continue to offer important services and updated information to our community. Your gifts provide improvements to our capital investments .
The library is tax-supported, but it competes with other entities for tax dollars. The budget is necessarily limited. It may not be possible to provide the financial resources for new areas or services that the community needs.
Gifts and Estate Giving
Help ensure that the library remains functional and technologically advanced. Consider adding the library to your estate plans or setting up a charitable gift annuity that will benefit the library.
All gifts are tax-deductible.
